Scouts! We have a very cool opportunity this year! We have a US Navy ship tour and camping trip planned for just outside Charleston, SC over the weekend of March 15-17, 2024. You may arrive for camping on Friday, March 15, or Saturday, March 16th, but please be at the Patriot’s Point Museum at 1:30pm on Saturday so we don’t miss our tour. Afterward, we will go back to the campsite for dinner and activities. Sunday, we’ll have a grab-n-go breakfast as we break camp and head back home. Please see the signup genius below to sign up!
Camp Ho Noh Wah
2609 Boy Scout Rd, Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487. We have the NEW SHIRMER campsite (this is a change from Crockett, and we are now closer to the dining hall) reserved at the Scout Camp Ho Noh Wah. Please bring all your camping gear as advised in our Family Camping Packing List blog post, including tent, sleeping bags, mess kit, and TARPS for your tent, etc. We are open for camping on Friday and will close down Sunday morning after breakfast.

Cost
There is a cost associated with this trip, split into two parts.
Camping fee/admission for the museum tour is $36/per adult and $28/per youth.
The cost is $5 for two meals (Saturday Pack dinner and Sunday grab-n-go breakfast).
Patriot’s Point Museum & Tour
40 Patriots Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Please see the map below for parking for cars (black line/arrow). We will meet at the Museum’s lobby at 1:30 for our 2pm tour on Saturday March 16th, 2024. Please do not be late or you may be left behind. Please wear your Class A uniform and comfortable walking shoes.
Parking is available at Patriot’s Point Naval & Maritime Museum, it costs $5 to park your car for the entire day.
There is a gift shop for your perusal (no online store) which is open from 9am to 5pm. They host a wide variety of military memorabilia, unique Charleston mementos, shirts, caps, unique gifts, and souvenirs.
