Dust off your tents, everyone, it’s time for a campout! We will be camping at Dallas Landing Park, complete with a campfire, activities, and a tent or treat on Saturday at 3pm.

When: October 18-20, 2024 (Arrival from 5-8pm on Friday, Departure at 10am on Sunday)
(Gate will be locked unless arrangements have been made) Just coming in for just Saturday daytime is OK. Just let Carole Ellis, Cubmaster (or your den leader) know.

Where: Dallas Landing 5120 Allatoona Drive, Acworth, GA 30101 

Who: Pack 540 Scouts and their immediate families. Lions and Tigers must have a parent each.

What to Bring:

If you are camping: You will want a tent as well as a ground cloth/tarp. If you are new to tent camping, please visit our pack camping packing list to see what you may need to bring, or what your camping gear collection may be missing. Of course, you can customize this list, and not all of it is mandatory. Health Forms A & B are required for each camper. Refillable water bottle and mess kits are welcome. Bring your costume and a trick or treating bag/container. Tents can be decorated for the Tent or treat event and can hand out candy or small items. Please come prepared for around 80+ scouts.
Families can also bring their fishing equipment, yard games, and more.

If you are just staying for the day on Saturday: bring your refillable water bottle. Mess kits are welcome to save on paper goods. Please dress for the weather and bring your costume and a trick or treating bag/container. Health Forms A & B are required for each camper.

Meals

• Families should plan for their own Friday night dinner while setting up camp. 
• The Pack will offer a Saturday morning breakfast.  (payment in signup genius)
• Families should bring a brown bag/lunchbox type lunch Saturday. 
• The Pack will offer a Saturday evening dinner.  (payment in signup genius)
• The Pack will have a cold grab-and-go breakfast Sunday morning while we pack up.   (payment in signup genius)
