It’s almost time for WinterFest! Our fractal-laced fest will kick off on December 17th, at 3pm at Due West’s Family Life Center (the big building we met in for the November STEAM meeting).
We will celebrate the season with a craft, a no-bake session, eat family cookie recipes (see below) festive activities, and more. Please wear all your holiday gear, including reindeer headbands, snow caps, Santa hats, holiday sweaters, and punny t-shirts.

Family Sweet Treats
Please find a Cookie or Sweet Treat recipe that your family enjoys. It can be a favorite family recipe that you love or something that you haven’t made in a while. We are asking that you make bite-size morsels that can be eaten by hand: about the size of a quarter. This way, your recipe will be able to be tasted by far more people without having to bake more than you usually would for a small group. We have about 100 Cub Scouts who want to try what you are baking. Think 25 cookies cut into quarters – it’s not more than a normal batch.
Please have your Scout make a little sign (an index card is fine) with the recipe name and all the ingredients so those with allergies can stay safe. You can display the sign in front of your tray at WinterFest.
Winter Coat Drive
We’ll be collecting lightly used or new coats for Due West’s coat drive. Sizes can be child or adult. Please bring them with you to WinterFest and we’ll add them to the drive.
We Need Your Help!
To pull this fun even off, we need your help! If you are able to set up, assist with a station, or help break down afterward, we’d love to have you. YOU are what makes our Pack great! Please sign up as you are able, and we’ll see you on Sunday, December 17th. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090B4AADA828A6FF2-46288488-winterfest
