POSTPONED – Pack Campout Fall 2022 at Proctor Landing

Come out and have fun!!  Pack 540 is going Camping! Sign Up Closes on September 25th

Grab your tent, sleeping bag, some extra clothes, your family, and head on out to Proctor Landing for a weekend of fun. A Cub Scout Family Campout is like no other. We learn how to camp, cook over and be safe with fire, enjoy nature, work on the Messengers of Peace Award, and have fun. And as a perk, we get the entire park to ourselves!

When: September 30 – October 2, 2022
Friday(9/30) Gate will be open at 5pm to 8PM. Late arrivals will need to coordinate with Alan Teague. Gate will remain closed all weekend.

Where: Proctor Landing Park, 5260 Proctor Landing Road, Acworth, GA 30101

Activities include:

  • Tent Camping
  • Flag Ceremonies
  • Campfire 
  • Camp cooking
  • Slack Line
  • Frisbee Golf
  • Orienteering
  • Safe family fun
  • Memory Making

What to Bring: Tent, sleeping bag, camp chair, personal gear, etc.

Meals:

Families should plan for their own Friday night dinner while setting up camp.  Families can prepare their own meals or participate in the Pack meals for an additional cost.  The Pack will offer a Saturday morning breakfast, Saturday evening dinner, and a cold grab-and-go breakfast Sunday morning.  Families are encouraged to bring a brown bag-type lunch for Saturday.
