Our next Pack Meeting is a Hike!!! 

Let’s go enjoy a short one-mile hike together. Scouting is about enjoying the outdoors and learning about what we are surrounded by. During this hike, we will be using a Scavenger Hunt to help us stop, look, listen, and have fun as we hike at Green Meadows Preserve. Can you spot all the items?

What You Need to Know

WHEN 

Sunday, March 19th at 3:00p (our usual Pack Meeting date and time)

The hike should take about 1 hour

WHERE 

We will meet at Oregon Park – Lower Parking Area on left as you enter the park

From there we will start our hike to and through Green Meadows Preserve

WHAT TO WEAR  

Class B uniform and comfortable closed toed shoes

Appropriate Clothing for the weather. Long but lightweight fishing pants are great in warm weather when trying to avoid bugs, brambles, etc.

WHAT TO BRING

A) Cub Scout 6 Essentials (sunscreen, water, snack, first aid, whistle, flashlight). Have your Cub

B) Pencil or Pen for checking off their scavenger hunt sheet
