Additional Costs:
Uniform – A full Class A uniform will cost around $100.00. The navy Class A shirt and belt are the most important parts. As a reminder, dues will cover a Class B t-shirt, neckerchief, slide, and Scout Book. Uniforms may be purchased by visiting the local Scout Shop or delivered via mail —see the Scout Shop Website for more details.
Other Costs – Campouts and/or special event expenses are usually passed on to the participating family and are highly variable. For example, participation in a Council or District organized camping weekend will cost more than a Pack organized camping weekend. These costs can be offset by participating in our Annual Wreath Fundraiser in the Fall.

Good evening, my son just started 1st grade at Due West a couple weeks ago and I am looking to sign him up for cub scouts in pack 540. Should I register him now or is there an open house coming up this month?

Hello there, I’m the father of a current Scout and a former Den leader with Pack 163 in Charlotte, NC. I have written a book on Pinewood Derby that I am making available as a free download. I was hoping you could place the link on your blog/website so other Scout families can benefit from it.
Thanks!
Yours in Scouting,
Brian Stanley
